Answers on Luqira setup, supported platforms, pricing, training data, cloning consent, latency, the public API and MCP. 25 questions, each answered.

Direct answers about AI livestream selling with Luqira: how fast you can go live, what the avatar can say, which languages and platforms it sells on, what the models were trained on, and what it costs.

Getting started

How quickly can I go live?

Under 10 minutes. Pick an avatar, set up your stage, import your products, and start streaming.

Do I need technical skills?

No. Our drag-and-drop studio and auto script generation make it easy for anyone to go live - whether you're a solo seller or a large team.

What do I need before my first stream?

Three things: a product list, an account on the platform you want to stream to, and about ten minutes. You do not need a camera, a studio, a host, lighting, or any video editing experience. Luqira supplies the avatar, the voice, the stage and the script, and writes that script from the catalogue you upload.

Which platforms are supported?

32 platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Shopee and AliExpress. Stream to all of them simultaneously from one dashboard.

Can I stream to several platforms at once?

Yes. One dashboard drives every destination at the same time. Multi-livestream mode runs your avatar on all 32 platforms simultaneously — TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Shopee and AliExpress among them — each with its own live chat, instead of making you choose one channel per session.

How it works

Does the AI actually sell?

Yes. Your AI avatar presents products, answers customer questions in real time, and guides viewers to purchase - consistently, 24/7.

How does the avatar answer viewer questions?

It reads the live chat and replies out loud, inside the stream. Every answer is grounded in the product catalogue, FAQs and selling points you imported, so the avatar quotes your real prices, specs and variants rather than improvising them. That grounding is what separates a selling avatar from a talking one.

How fast does the avatar respond?

Under 200 milliseconds from comment to spoken reply. That is fast enough to read as conversation rather than lag, which matters commercially: a viewer who asks about sizing or shipping and waits several seconds has usually scrolled on before the answer arrives.

Can I control what the avatar says?

Yes, line by line. Luqira drafts a script from your catalogue and you can rewrite any part of it, pin phrases the avatar must use, and rule out ones it must never say. Full script control is included on every plan rather than reserved for enterprise contracts.

How many streams can run at once?

Hundreds, all driven by one model. There is no per-stream studio to book or operator to staff, so the tenth and the hundredth concurrent stream are a plan change rather than a hiring decision. Stream hours are the unit you buy; concurrency is how you choose to spend them.

What uptime does Luqira run at?

99.9%, served from a global edge rather than a single region. Live service state for streaming, avatar rendering, voice synthesis and the API is published at luqira.com/status, with a machine-readable version at luqira.com/api/status that your own monitoring can poll.

Avatars and voices

Can I clone my own face and voice?

Yes. With proper consent, you can clone any likeness and voice to create a custom AI avatar. Cloned voices come free with a yearly plan at every size, and custom avatars from Growth up; every stock avatar is included on every plan.

How many avatars and voices are included?

Over 100 studio-grade avatars and more than 600 localized voices. Both catalogues are readable without an account from the public API at luqira.com/api/avatars and luqira.com/api/voices/catalogue. Public voices and stock avatars are included on every plan; cloned voices come free with a yearly plan, and custom avatars from Growth up.

Which languages can the avatar sell in?

85+ languages, and the voice models were trained across all of them together in a single run, so a Vietnamese or Thai stream is served by the same model as an English one instead of by a translation layer bolted on afterwards. The Luqira website itself is published in English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Thai.

Consent from the person being cloned. Luqira creates a custom avatar or cloned voice only with proper permission from whoever the likeness and voice belong to, and the acceptable use policy at luqira.com/acceptable-use governs what happens when that is missing. A likeness you clone stays yours.

Technology and data

Does Luqira build its own AI models?

Yes. Luqira Voices is trained in-house from random initialisation on the Apache-2.0 OmniVoice architecture — not a fine-tune of anyone's checkpoint. We own the weights we trained and hold full commercial rights to them, and it all runs on our own inference stack with no third-party API in the serving path. The full build and licensing record is at luqira.com/technology; the model card is public at huggingface.co/GuidenAI/genpio_voice.

What data was the voice model trained on?

Named public corpora, published as ids you can check at the source rather than described vaguely: OpenSLR SLR94, SLR37, SLR41-44, SLR63-66, SLR78-80, SLR86, SLR129 and SLR33, plus Google FLEURS. More than 85 languages trained together in one run. Luqira chose the mix, ran the training, and owns the weights it trained, with full commercial rights and no model rented from any provider. The model card is public at huggingface.co/GuidenAI/genpio_voice, so none of this has to be taken on our word.

What does Luqira do with my product data?

Your catalogue, FAQs and selling points are used to ground what your avatar says on your own streams, which is how it quotes your real prices and specs instead of guessing. The training set behind Luqira Voices is the published list of public corpora above. How Luqira collects, stores and protects your data is set out in full at luqira.com/privacy.

Is there a public API?

Yes, and it needs no key. Four read-only JSON endpoints are open to anyone: /api/avatars, /api/voices/catalogue, /api/jobs and /api/status. The full reference lives at luqira.com/api-docs.md, the machine-readable index at luqira.com/.well-known/api-catalog, and there is nothing to authenticate with, as luqira.com/auth.md explains.

Can I connect ChatGPT or Claude to Luqira?

Yes, over MCP. Point ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or any other MCP client at meet.luqira.com/mcp and the assistant can open the account, size the plan, write the scripts and fill the product library, with you approving the connection in your own browser. A second, read-only server at luqira.com/mcp exposes the public avatar, voice, jobs and status data with no account at all.

Pricing and buying

How much does Luqira cost?

Luqira has four plans and they are priced by the stream hour, with the rate falling as the plan grows. Starter is 60 stream hours a month at $15 an hour, so $900. Growth is 240 hours at $13, so $3,120. Scale is 500 hours at $10, so $5,000. Above 700 hours a month it is Enterprise, priced with sales. Yearly is 12 months at the same monthly price, with no annual discount, and adds free cloned voices and custom avatars you keep for good. What you save against a traditional setup depends on what that setup costs you today, so there is no percentage worth quoting: price your studio, crew and host hours against those figures and the difference is the answer.

Is there a free trial?

There is no free trial, and no paid trial either. You book a demo, see Luqira run on your own products, and then start on the plan that fits your hours.

How much will I save vs. traditional livestreaming?

It depends on what you spend today, so we will not quote you a percentage. What goes away is specific: studio rental, broadcast equipment, the production crew and the hourly host. What replaces them is a published rate per stream hour - $15 an hour on Starter, down to $10 on Scale - with no setup fee, no onboarding fee, no per-seat licence and no minimum term.

Which countries can buy Luqira?

Every country. Luqira sells online worldwide with tax-compliant invoicing in 80+ countries. The company is registered in San Francisco, California, and operates from two offices customers can actually visit: San Francisco in the United States, and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

How do I talk to sales?

Book a meeting directly at meet.luqira.com, email [email protected], or use the contact form on this site. Meetings happen in person at the San Francisco or Ho Chi Minh City office, or online. Sales can be conducted in any of the seven languages this site is published in.
